The LGBT Library at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center welcomes the community to join for part one of our 2019 LGBT Spirituality Mini Series. Join us for a conversation with Jay Michaelson. Following the event, stay for a dessert reception and book signing.
Rabbi Dr. Jay Michaelson is author of the best-selling God vs. Gay: The Religious Case for Equality, as well as six other books on religion, sexuality, and contemplative practice. He holds a Ph.D. in Jewish Thought from Hebrew University as well as non-denominational rabbinic ordination, and he teaches at Chicago Theological Seminary. He founded two national LGBT Jewish organizations, and these days is a columnist for the Daily Beast and head writer for the 10% Happier meditation magazine.
The conversation is moderated by Rabbi Steve Nathan, Director of Jewish Student Life and Associate Chaplain at Lehigh University.
