Note: New Date - this event is now on June 25th!
The Library at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, as part of the Lehigh Valley's commemoration of Stonewall 50, invites the community to participate in a community book discussion of Mark Segal's memoir, And Then I Danced: Traveling the Road to LGBT Equality. About this book, New York Public Library says "read about Stonewall from someone who was there: Segal moved to New York just in time to participate in the movement, and began a long and storied career as an activist during the riots."
Free copies of the text are available for the first ten people to sign up ([email protected]). This program is sponsored by Lehigh University's Humanities Center, Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program, Pride Center, and Mellon Digital Humanities Initiative.
Community Book Discussions at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center are sober social events. No alcohol is served.
