2022 Lehigh Valley LGBTQ+ Community Leadership Award Honorees:

  • Lehigh Valley Health Network
  • Patrick Fligge
  • Justan Parker & Kevin Jefferson
  • Emma Smith

Mistress of Ceremonies: Elektra Fearce St. James (she/her) is a longtime leader in the Lehigh Valley drag community and has experience engaging volunteers in support of numerous LGBTQ+ non-profits. By day Elektra is known as Ariel Torres and previously worked as Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center's Pride Programs Manager, and now works as the Associate Director of The Pride Center for Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity at Lehigh University. Elektra enjoys using her artistic vision to raise funds for LGBTQ+ organizations while celebrating drag as a cultural art form
within the LGBTQ+ community.

Keynote Speaker: Kasey Suffredini, CEO and National Campaign Director at Freedom for All Americans, has been the chief architect of bipartisan campaigns to successfully secure a number of national firsts, including passing the country’s first standalone statewide transgender public accommodations law, among others. From 2016-2018, Kasey co-chaired the historic, award-winning Freedom for All Massachusetts / Yes on 3 ballot campaign, winning the first statewide popular vote on transgender rights in U.S. history by a landslide two-thirds margin (68-32%). Kasey’s previous roles include Executive Director of MassEquality, Public Policy Director at Family Equality Council, and State Legislative Director at the National LGBTQ Task Force. A transgender attorney, Kasey also served as President of the National LGBT Bar Association.

Boylesque Dancer: Milo Pony (he/they), the Broadway Brony of Burlesque, is the co-creator/co-producer of Members Only Boylesque, NYC's premiere award winning queer boylesque company. He is a 4-time Glam Award nominee for Best Burlesque, has performed all over the world including on Vacaya's inaugural cruise to P-Town, and has performed for many years in Broadway Bares. He was also featured as the #instaman in Attitude Magazine (July '20).

Burlesque Performance: The Looking Glass Revue began as the impassioned collaboration between international event producer and owner of HOM Consulting, Kate Elfatah (Executive Producer) and Burlesque Performer and Pin-Up Model, Mika Romantic (Artistic Director). The troupe has been entertaining delighted crowds since its inception in 2012.

The Troupe presents professional Burlesque experiences, with a cast of dedicated, trained, experienced dance and theatre performers. The Troupe prides itself on its classic and nostalgic approach to entertainment that transports audience members back to a time when showgirls and starlets reigned supreme. Old Hollywood glamour meets the mysterious world of the underground nightclub and the long forgotten Vaudeville Theatre of yesteryear. Our performers happily live a "vintage" lifestyle and have incorporated mid-century culture and fashion in their everyday lives.

COVID-19 safety: Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center prioritizes the safety of our community. Therefore, all attendees will be required to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination (physical or digital) upon entrance. All eligible individuals must be boosted, as per the CDC guidelines. Additionally, face masks are required and will be available at no cost for attendees who need one. Hand sanitizer will also be available throughout the venue.
