Gabby Hochfeld's 12 Days of Giving Page
As some of you may already know, I work at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center as the Health Outreach Coordinator. A major part of my career is educating LGBTQ+ youth on the largest health disparity that faces our community as a whole: tobacco related illnesses. Without Bradbury-Sullivan, programs and education like this would not be available for free to the public which would severely dent the progress we have made toward living a more healthy and proud life.
We need to raise $24,000 from individuals in the final 12 days of 2020. We are calling this our "12 Days of Giving" and I'm asking you -- one of my close friends -- if you can participate with a donation of $42, $85 or more.
Of course, your donation is tax-deductible, but that's not why you should give.
The 12 Days of Giving fundraising campaign is a fun way to get into the spirit of giving as well as a great opportunity for us to reach potential new donors who care about our mission. We are not looking for rich people; we are looking for passionate people who support the programs the Center offers. This is a fantastic way to be a better ally, support the work of my colleagues and myself, and really make a difference by putting your money towards a nonprofit that takes our community’s needs seriously.
Thank you for your continued support throughout the year!
In friendship and solidarity,
P.S. If your employer matches charitable donations, please don't forget to let them know about your gift as well!
