Katie Suppes' 12 Days of Giving Page
It has been one hell of a year.
With each blow that 2020 has dealt us, Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center has cared for this community. When COVID-19 cases began to be diagnosed in Pennsylvania, our health team worked tirelessly to put out the most up to date and inclusive health education materials to keep us all safe. When grocery store shelves were wiped out, our youth program delivered care packages and farm shares to the homes of young LGBTQ people. When stay-at-home orders exacerbated experiences of loneliness and isolation, our arts and culture team re-connected people through reading groups, LGBTQ history programs, and an amazing virtual pride event. And when attempts at voter suppression swept through the state amidst this pandemic, our whole team came together to help community members register to vote, apply for mail-in ballots, and make safety plans for voting in person.
To keep doing whatever it takes to support, empower, and demand justice for LGBTQ people, we need to raise $24,000 from individuals in the final 12 days of 2020. I'm asking you if you can participate with a donation of $42 or more to help me reach my personal goal of $1,000.
I hope that you are safe and healthy as you approach the new year. And I hope that, if you can, you'll consider making a gift of $42 to Bradbury-Sullivan Center this December. Your gift will fuel essential community-based programs and advocacy work that pursues the promise of continued progress for the LGBTQ community in 2021.
Thank you for your love and support!
P.S. If your employer matches charitable donations, please don't forget to let them know about your gift as well!
