A Mammogram Can Be A Lifesaver is Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center's campaign to increase mammography rates in the Lehigh Valley. Click HERE to read more about the campaign and see the dates for the other webinars.
Unfortunately, not everyone is familiar with how, when, and where they need to schedule a mammogram. Specifically, studies show that people in the LGBTQ+ community are not receiving their recommended screenings. Join in to our webinar to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community and their barriers to care, as well as how, when, and where you and your loved ones can get screened.
A Mammogram Can Be A Lifesaver is an evidenced-based campaign to increase mammographic testing among LGBT people assigned female at birth in the Lehigh Valley, and was funded in part through a grant from Women's 5K Classic.
The Lehigh Valley Lesbians Community Group is a casual, drop-in community discussion group for anyone who identifies as lesbian or a bisexual woman in the Greater Lehigh Valley. The group is held on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 6 to 7:30PM EST. This presentation starts at 5:30PM EST, right before the group's regular meeting.
Live closed captioning is available at this virtual event.
As the health and safety of our center's visitors are our highest priority, this group is now held remotely. To read more about the LGBT community and COVID-19, click here. To learn more about our supportive services, contact [email protected].
