The Library at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center presents the July discussion of the center's Queer Memoir Reading Group, featuring Long Live the Tribe of Fatherless Girls by T Kira Madden. It's been named one of the Best Books of 2019 by Esquire, Variety, and O, The Oprah Magazine.
Long Live the Tribe of Fatherless Girls is about coming of age and reckoning with desire as a queer, biracial teenager.
The New York Times writes, "This is a fearless debut that carries as much tenderness as pain. The author never shrinks from putting herself back into the world after every hurt, and we are lucky for it."
