Pride is about visibility. It's about being seen for who we are. Pride is a celebration. It's also about liberation -- a remembrance of the history of our liberation as well as a reminder that our community is not equal yet. Pride is about our community coming together.

In 1993, returning from the March on Washington, a group of local activists decided to form the Lehigh Valley's first pride celebration. For 24 years, volunteers did incredible work to manage and grow this annual event. In 2017, Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley merged with Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center.
