Bex Bio

Bex Mui, M Ed., is a biracial Chinese/Polish, first gen queer witch and spiritual organizer committed to the work of LGBTQ+ affirmation. She offers anti-racist, LGBTQ+ workshops and trainings through bexmui.com. Bex founded House Of Our Queer, a QTBIPOC-centered spiritual playspace. Her book, House Of Our Queer:Healing, Reframing, and Reclaiming Your Spiritual Practice, shares offerings based on the principle that queerness is a blessing. 

Queer Spiritual Leadership Workshop: Reclaiming Spirituality 

In this presentation, Bex will share about her own religious and spiritual journey, being raised Catholic with Buddhist influences, and navigating through “the pain place” after coming out. She’ll discuss how she eventually reclaimed spiritual practices, beliefs, and rituals for herself, and the inclusive guiding principles of House Of Our Queer.

Open Community Event: Queering Your Spiritual Toolbox 

Join this community session to learn about a variety of spiritual “tools”, including ancestor connection, tarot, astrology, and energy work. Bex will share more about how House Of Our Queer uses these tools as a queer spiritual practice. To close, Bex will lead participants in a group Tarot Spread with insights for the year ahead.
