The LGBT Library at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, in partnership with CeasefirePA, Lehigh Valley Friends of CeasefirePA, and Orange Wave PA present a book talk with Igor Volsky, author of Guns Down: How to Defeat the NRA and Build a Safer Future Without Guns

One of Mashable's “17 books every activist should read in 2019”, Igor Volsky, a leading activist for LGBT rights and gun control, offers a radical argument for the gun control movement our country desperately needs. Actress and producer Alyssa Milano said, “Anyone who wants to help build safe American communities must read this book.”

Igor Volsky is founder and the Director of Guns Down America. Igor has appeared on MSNBC, CNN, Fox Business, Fox News, and CNBC television, and he has been a guest on many radio shows. His work on gun violence prevention has appeared in USA Today, U.S. News and World Report and the Orlando Sentinel, among others.  In 2011, Forbes named Igor one of their top “30 under 30” in Law & Policy.

Dessert reception to follow. Copies of Guns Down will be available for purchase at the event.

This is a sober social event at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center. No alcohol will be served.
