Creating Community Fund

Safe spaces where LGBTQ+ people can gather, peer and community groups where people find connection, Pride celebrations that make Queer visibility joyful and powerful – these things exist because people choose to build them.

That’s why we created the Creating Community Fund.

This annual fund fuels the everyday work of bringing LGBTQ+ people together across the Lehigh Valley, supporting the spaces, programs, and relationships that help our community thrive.

And during Pride Month, we’re inviting you to help create what comes next. Your gift today helps make community real:

• $25 provides community members with essential self-care and wellness items through our Care Cupboard.
• $50 allows us to provide essential resources and referrals because no one should face crisis alone.
• $100 supports the facilitation of our monthly community groups where LGBTQ+ people find connection and belonging.
• $250 uplifts the talents of Queer and Trans artists by providing a platform for them to share their art with the community at Lehigh Valley Pride and in our Community Center.
• $500 ensures everyone can embrace their authentic selves and gather in Queer joy at Lehigh Valley Pride.
• Join the 2016 Club in honor of our founding year and help support LGBTQ+ education and advocacy efforts that strengthen connection across the Lehigh Valley.

For many people in our community, Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center is the first place they discover that they are not alone.

It’s where someone attends their first peer group and finds understanding. Where chosen family is formed. Where LGBTQ+ joy is celebrated openly and proudly.

This year also marks an important milestone for the Center. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’re reflecting on a decade of creating spaces where LGBTQ+ people across the Lehigh Valley can gather, heal, learn, and celebrate together.

But the next decade of community will only happen the same way the first one did: Because people choose to create it.
