LGBTQ+ 101 - Introductory Concepts, Bias and Acceptance, Pronouns and LGBTQ+ Inclusive Language
First class in our certification series.
Course description: Familiarize yourself with terms and other introductory concepts that impact the LGBTQ+ community. Practice the use of pronouns and unlearn biases that impact the LGBTQ+ community.
Recommended for: Groups that want to understand the LGBTQ+ community on a beginner level and groups that wish to ask difficult or uncomfortable questions regarding LGBTQ+ issues. Young learner and other modifications available.
LGBTQ+ 201 - Modern American History, Laws and Policies, Anti-LGBTQ+ Rhetoric
Second class in our certification series.
Course description: Familiarize yourself with LGBTQ+ history, events and culture, and legislation and laws that impact the LGBTQ+ community.
Recommended for: Groups that have a basic understanding of LGBTQ+ issues and want to expand their education. Young learner and other modifications available.
LGBTQ+ 301 - Statistics, Health Needs, PA Health Needs Assessment
Third class in our certification series.
Course description: Understand the impact that history has on LGBTQ+ health disparities. Standard application of prior trainings.
Recommended for: Groups that have a strong understanding of LGBTQ+ issues and wish to create radical change in the spaces they work and occupy. Young learner and other modifications available.
Custom Curriculum
LGBTQ+ Custom Topics - Accreditation*, Personalized presentations, Adults only topics, Topics for children
*Accreditation is currently for medical students, medical professionals, social workers etc. Will participate in a 2 hour training and earn Continued Education Units (CEU’s).
Course Description: Topics can be as specific as they need to be. Address any topics related to LGBTQ+ liberation, struggles and culture. Sex positive topics (adults only). Family and Child topics.
Recommended for: CEUs for medical students, healthcare professionals, social workers etc., groups who have experienced a specific event related to LGBTQ+ discrimination in the workplace, people who are familiar and comfortable around LGBTQ+ spaces and wish to expand their grasp on specific topics related to the LGBTQ+ community. Excellent option for companies that want to help support the LGBTQ+ community.
Workshop or a Training?
Workshop - Clients will learn an accelerated version of our various training sessions for an hour. Clients will have a 5 minute break after the first half hour and a 10 minute Q&A session at the end.
This version of our program is more lecture based. However, there is a shortened activity section.
Training - Clients will learn about LGBTQ+ topics at various levels, for about one and a half to two and a half hours. Clients will be given a 15 minute break after the first hour. There will also be a 15 minute Q&A session at the end.
Accreditation - Medical students, Medical Professionals, Social workers etc. Will participate in a 2 hour training and earn Continued Education Units (CEU’s).
Certification - Clients will complete 101, 201 and 301 to be certified as an LGBTQ+ friendly space.
Additional Information
Certification - Bradbury-Sullivan will certify your organization, group or company as an “LGBTQ+ friendly space”. After completing each step in our certification series, your group will be granted a certificate and window cling. Certifications are valid for 2 years.
Policy Review - Bradbury-Sullivan will create, edit, adjust or modify any anti-discrimination policies for your company, organization or group.
Consulting (Per 1/2 hour) - Bradbury-Sullivan will provide support to any group that seeks professional advice and consultation with regards to helping the LGBTQ+ community.
Q&A - Bradbury-Sullivan will facilitate an in person or virtual Q&A session. Groups should come prepared with questions. This service is available for up to an hour.
Recording Fee - Training sessions can be recorded and sent to you and your group for an additional fee.
Speaker Fee - Bradbury-Sullivan has many talented and educated people working at the center. If your company, organization or group wants us to speak at an event this is a perfect option for you.

Certification Series Outline
Pretest - Clients will complete a Pre-Test to assess how much they currently understand about LGBTQ+ issues.
LGBTQ+ 101 - Clients will complete a 2 hour training.
LGBTQ+ 201 - Clients will complete a 2 hour training.
LGBTQ+ 301 - Clients will complete a 2 hour training.
Post Test - Clients will complete a Post Test to assess how much they have grown since their pre-test. This will determine if your company, group or organization earns certification. Note: 100% of the organization must score at least a 75% in order to pass the Post Test. Members that do not meet the intended goal may retake the Test.
Policy Review - Bradbury-Sullivan will edit, adjust or modify any existing anti-discrimination policies your organization may have. Bradbury-Sullivan will help create policies if necessary. Note: This will serve as a final step towards your accreditation. Once you have been accredited you will have access to all of the recordings and information you have been exposed to throughout the certification process.
