Celebrate Pride Month at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center with “Visions: Building Queer Families,” a new Instagram Live series in June.
This week's speaker is Casandra Dry (she/her) from Diakon Adoption & Foster Care to talk about Adoption.
There isn’t just one way to cultivate families as queer people, but often, we don’t know where to start – and we don’t see our families reflected in much of mainstream media. “Visions” reflects the idea of being able to envision our beautiful, vibrant families and futures.
The series, presented by Diakon Adoption & Foster Care, will feature speakers from local organizations in an effort to help community members connect to family planning and building resources, as well as explore our own ideas of what “family” can mean.
